Purpose, Mind, Soul and Sushi

I posted a blog many moons ago about really truly chasing your passion, pursuing your dreams and working at what makes you happy. What happens when you have no idea what it is you are supposed to be doing, what do you do then? I have met many people that go through the motions not because they are lazy or uninspired, but because the liberation that comes from fulfilling their own self purpose has escaped them. It’s socially acceptable to be schooled until you’re in your twenties, find a job and plug into the machine we call the workforce; then become a drone in a suit, tie and slack wearing capitalist army and accept a mediocre wage for your work. In some cases a wage just decent enough to barely cover you…until the next one, lol. Everyone is meant to do something (purpose), but the journey to finding out what that is takes a sincere knowledge and understanding of self (mind and soul). The one thing you do really well can help a person, a town, or even the world if harnessed and practiced. Purpose, Mind and Soul - we ALL contain something that can be used to help or inspire another person. Don’t ever feel like your life is destined to that 90 degree desk, that adjustable seat and 12 inch computer monitor. Go the library and explore what this planet has to offer because It’s not the years in your life, it’s the life in your years (I wish I could remember who said that)…Oh and Sushi because I could really go for some great Sushi right about now! Can you recommebed a good spot?

Peace you’ll, Oh and please come and see my passion exemplified –
Canvas on June 26th!!
