The Result of Passion

I wake up, stretch, yawn and ponder for a sleep filled minute or 2 about how this day, this brand new day will be different from the last. Let's do the math and I'll use myself as the subject. I wake up at 6:30, I'm at work by 7:30 then off at 5:30...with traffic I'm home by 6. I'll relax for about 30, eat, and then work on my passion at about 7/7:30 - There are 13 long hours that pass before I can get to what I love doing most! Its easy to let the day go by without really working on what you have been blessed to do. Some of us are blessed with jobs that we are passionate about, jobs that aren't considered jobs, but most of us are in Bill Pay occupations. The truth is my passion is the only way I can differentiate my days...it's the only time when I don't feel like a battery, plugged into a corporate machine. My passion keeps me free, it keeps me sane and optimistic, I'm not draining my thoughts thinking about that promotion at work (even though it would be nice and is well deserved lol) and I'm not spending time pondering how to get on my boss's good side, or which cheek to kiss today. The result of my passion will be receiving the peace and happiness that we all strive for, the peace that can only be explained with a smile and a modest shrug of the shoulders. What is your passion, what will make you happy, and can you truly say you are working on it?

Peace and Blessings,
AR
